Fake News Alert: NYT, CNN, NBC Push Phony Australia Ruse

Trashing the Truth: The Fake News Trifecta Spins Another Doozy

Richmond, VA—The New York Times is bent on pushing another conspiracy theory and peddling it as “news” over nothing on President Trump’s call with the Australian Prime Minister.

I’m surprised it took them an entire day to concoct another Trump whopper.

Here’s the fake headline to whet your clickbait whistle:

The New York Times: “Trump Pressed Australian Leader to Help Barr Investigate Mueller Inquiry’s Origins”

NYT Times Lie Of The Day

The Times claims that “Mr. Trump’s discussion with Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia shows the president using high-level diplomacy to advance his personal political interests.”

The Facts:

The President was simply connecting Department of Justice (DOJ) officials with Australian government officials at the request of U.S. Attorney General William Barr for the ongoing inquiry related to the 2016 election.

According to the Australians, no one was pressuring anyone for anything. They offered their support for the inquiry. Unfortunately for the fake-newsers at the Times, the Aussies documented their interactions.

letter from May from Australian Ambassador Joe Hockey to Attorney General Barr confirms that Australia was willing to assist in the inquiry.

“The Australian Government will use its best endeavors to support your efforts in this matter.”

President Trump was merely providing introductions to help facilitate the inquiry at DOJ’s request.

Oh, the outrage of it all!

Inconvenient Facts are now the NYT Public Enemy:

DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE:

“At Attorney General Barr’s request, the President has contacted other countries to ask them to introduce the Attorney General and Mr. Durham to appropriate officials.”

WHITE HOUSE PRINCIPAL DEPUTY PRESS SECRETARY HOGAN GIDLEY STATEMENT:

I’m old enough to remember when Democrats actually wanted to find out what happened in the 2016 election. The Democrats clearly don’t want the truth to come out anymore as it might hurt them politically, but this call relates to a DOJ inquiry publicly announced months ago to uncover exactly what happened. The DOJ simply requested that the President provide introductions to facilitate that ongoing inquiry, and he did so, that’s all.”

Fake News Peddlers Lies #2 and #3

The legacy lying faker media has attempted to stir controversy over news reports about where records of the President’s calls with foreign leaders are or are not stored.

CNN’S JAKE TAPPER: “We know now that the transcript of that call was put into this computer server. I mean, this looks really, really bad.”

NBC NEWS LEGAL ANALYST GLENN KIRSCHNER:  “We now have learned that there are lots of calls and the summaries of these calls have been placed in a database or a server that was not designed to hold these kind of calls.”

FACTS:

The storage described in the news reports would not be unprecedented like the legacy media would have you believe – just ask the Obama White House.

Former Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice acknowledged just last week they did so during the Obama Administration. For example:

MODERATOR: “How often did you guys move over conversations onto that kind of a server?”

FORMER NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR SUSAN RICE: “We never moved them over unless they were legitimate, in their contents classified.”

MODERATOR: “Can you say which ones you moved over?”

RICE: “Of course not.”

And The Alex Jones Award…

…goes to Nancy Pelosi who pushed a conspiracy theory right out of Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone that Russia is somehow involved in this issue.

Pelosi on MSNBC:  “I think Russia has a hand in this, by the way.”

Just another day in the Fake News Media Fairyland.
