Former Trump strategist Steve Bannon is warning Donald Trump that his preferred candidates risk losing key primary battles to ‘Never Trumpers’ if he does not pour millions of dollars into their campaigns.
John Fredericks, the host of The John Fredericks Show, told Trump on Tuesday to “face reality” as polls show Perdue behind incumbent Governor Brian Kemp in the Republican primary.
Trump said on the conservative radio program The John Fredericks Show Tuesday morning that Kemp has proven to be “very hard to beat,” which he called “a shame.”
Georgia’s chief elections officer has stacked up appearances on conservative radio and other media in recent months — taking lumps over his break with Donald Trump in an effort to rebuild his standing in the GOP ahead of his 2022 campaign.
“We’ll see who’s going to be running against Kemp, but I would imagine somebody will. If somebody ran, they’d win in the Republican primary,” Trump told radio host John Fredericks of Kemp.”
